Licensing

At GPvNO we believe in rewarding our customers, making it super affordable for any organization to scale up their INET/WINET user base. To that end we use a volume discount tiered pricing system for our INET/WINET license, effectively decreasing the price per user the greater the number of users in your organization.

The tables below outline the pricing for our Inet/Winet terminal emulator suite. Please contact us should you wish to enquire about the pricing for our other products (RINET, IRMA and IRIS).

The current pricing came into effect on April 1st, 2010.

Please Note:

  • VAT (Value Added Tax), also known as GST (General Sales Tax) or simply Sales Tax in various countries, is NOT applied to orders originating from outside the borders of South Africa. Our shopping cart system automatically makes the necessary adjustment based on the customer’s country selection.
  • Orders originating from within the borders of South Africa are subject to VAT at the rate applicable at the time of placement of the order (currently 14%).
  • Although prices below are given in both United States dollar and South African rand, this website was created exclusively for the gobal market and therefore orders are accepted in United States dollar only.
  • The difference in vaue between USD and ZAR in the tables on this page is not linked to the international currency exchange rates. GPvNO reserves the right to determine an internal exchange rate which may fluctuate from time to time, and may or may not to a certain degree resemble the international currency exchange rates.

Software Assurance

INET offers one of the most cost effective Software Assurance (support and upgrade) packages in the industry. All our clients are impressed with the speed and type of support that we supply. Several clients have been with us for many years and can testify to this. We expect to keep price adjustments under the inflation rates to make it easy for our clients to budget for the future. The current rates for Software Assurance came into effect on April 1st, 2010.

After the first year (and all subsequent years) Software Assurance can be extended yearly by:

  • purchasing Software Assurance at 15% of the cost of the existing product (at the then current price), or;
  • purchasing an additional number of licenses equal to or in excess of 25% of the current year’s user base.

The Software Assurance entitles users to:

  1. All the latest upgrades and bug fixes.
  2. Telephonic, e-mail and Internet support.
  3. Notification of new releases and bug fixes via e-mail.
  4. Fixing of all reported and acknowledged bugs.
  5. Bulk discount on purchases of additional Inet licences.
  6. The right to request enhancements; which will be implemented if we deem them to be general improvements to the product.
  7. Option to upgrade to the remote management facility, IRMA.
  8. Direct support on scripts and COM/Automation development.
